Amanda Blank

Does anybody remember Amanda Blank’s verse on Spank Rock’s last album? Blank, a Philly girl, jumped out of that track like she had something to prove, spitting sexually explicit couplets with braggadoccio and walking all over Spank Rock’s own verse. Now she’s back with ‘I Love You’, her debut album out August 4 and we’re pretty sure its going to be released this time since it’s streaming on her MySpace page . The album was originally due to come out mid-July but was pushed back.

In the meantime Pretty Much Amazing has two tracks available to download right now. ‘A Love Song’ is a heartfelt fan favourite and a remix to Santigold’s ‘Im A Lady’. Also available is ‘Might Like You Better’, the Romeo Void sampling first single from Blank’s album. Lucky for us she’s once again on fire, rapping about giving it up and putting it down. “I’ve been waiting on it, don’t take too long/don’t waste my time, just take me home/I got something for ya, believe it’s sweet/lets go, I moan like a cat in heat.”

Shouts to Prefix Mag for the heads up.
