It’s no secret that Interpol’s 2007 album ‘Our Love To Admire’ was a letdown. The album failed to capitalise on the success that the bands first two albums created and left old fans wearisome of the New Yorkers. Since then singer and guitarist Paul Banks has been working on a solo album released under his pseudonym Julian Plenti. The album, ‘Julian Plenti is…Skyscraper’ was released this week on Matador records.
Below is the video for the albums first single ‘Games For Days’. Is it just me or is Paul Banks going for some sort of Brad Pitt lookalike thing? The video was directed by Javier Aguilera and also features Metric’s Emily Haines playing a sexy vandal.
