Smashproof have announced that they have officially inked a deal with Universal Germany. We don’t know too much about the details but MTC say that the deal will cover the European continent and as well as including the solo work of each member.
Smashproof and Kidz In Space have also confirmed that they will play the CMJ Music Marathon in New York on October 20-24. The marathon will feature 1,200 artists and 120,000 attendees as they play in 75 of NYC’s nightclubs and theatres.
Chartwise, it’s been a pretty good week for Smashproof. Their single ‘Ordinary Life’ has inched further up the top 10 to number seven and I’m hoping that next week it will crack the top five. ‘Brother’ also sits at number 40 on the NZ top 40 chart. On iTunes, Kidz In Space are sitting at number 26 with their new single, ‘Downtime.’
