The group played a near sold-out show at the Vector Arena in Auckland on October 13 and in their downtime headed to Parnell’s York Street Studio to [...]

Be warned – the new mixtape from Lil’ Wayne called No Ceilings features a rendition of the most overplayed song of the year, I Gotta Feeling. Also included is Swag Surfin,’ a song which is probably going to be better than anything off Rebirth – and has the most graphic reference to Windows Vista I’ve [...]

The xx are hitting our shores in February for the Laneways festival and for a very short time you can download ‘Islands,’ one of their best songs from their self-titled album. To be completely honest, I’m still trying to get my head around ‘Embryonic,’ the sprawling new 18-track double album (hey, at least it’s not another quadruple album, right?) from The Flaming Lips. Is it wrong that so far I find the song with MGMT the most enjoyable? To be completely honest we’d just like to [...]
