Tom Breihan pointed out awhile back that on ‘Supernova’ Kanye pretty much jacked half of it for himself, leaving Hudson ultimately in a back up role. Cocky? Sure, but a Kanye endorsement is a Kanye endorsement. I don’t see him being the sort of dude that gets turned down too often.
‘Time’ is the new single off Mr. Hudson’s debut album, ‘Straight No Chaser.’ Leaving the synthpop at the door, it’s a little more of a subdued affair than ‘Supernova’ was, relying mostly on piano and straying into ballad territory. It totally has the potential to cross over into the A/C scene a little too easily as well. Yeah, we’re not convinced yet.
