Lauryn Hill Joins Raggamuffin Line-Up

The organisers of Raggamuffin have announced that Lauryn Hill will be joining the already-strong line-up in Rotorua on January 23. This means that not only one but two (the two that really matter right?) members of The Fugees will be in the same place at the same time. Zealots, anyone? However, it might not happen – on more than one occasion, Hill has canceled appearances, which makes this whole thing uncertain. Plus, as well all know, “two emcee’s can’t occupy the same space at the same time.” Just getting her over here could be as tough as it was to get Ol’ Dirty Bastard to the Rock The Bells festival. Also, according to this MTV article, she’s also been known to turn up late and play her songs as “unrecognizable scat chants.” Please let this be the exception. [Tickets available from Ticketmaster]
