We don’t exactly need Time magazine telling us that Dirty Projector’s Stillness Is The Move was one of the high-points of 2009. Still, they at least deserve some props for their inclusion of Solange’s cover of the song (that ties for 6th place on the list) which if anything just point out the R&B elements of the song that were hiding in the closet from the get-go. After all hipsters, it is okay to like R&B – you won’t be teased about it over here. Anyway, I’m pretty sure that makes the hipster ratings in the family, Solange: 2, Jay-Z: 6. Your move, Bey.
