Roger Shepherd Back In Control Of Flying Nun Records
We’re all pretty aware of the fuckery surrounding Flying Nun Records since the whole Festival/Mushroom/Warner Music thing (if you don’t, it maybe worth picking up a copy of Gareth Shute’s NZ Rock 1987-2007) but it was announced today that the label is officially back in the hands of founder Roger Shepherd. Radioscope mentioned that this was rumoured back in May, and the only involvement Warner’s have now is through physical and digital distribution. Amongst other (more important) things which we’ll get to soon, can we please get some new Little Brother tee’s made up? My Gordons one doesn’t fit anymore. [Radioscope]
