Deceptikonz Feat. David Dallas “We Here”

Evolution: Past-Present-Beyond is the Deceptikonz last album before they part ways for good. Similar to Like What, their latest song We Here was produced by Twice As Nice, the production duo who have been handling behind-the-boards duties on songs such as Young Sid’s Never Waste A Day, Frisko and Aaradhna’s Music (Makes The World Go Round) and Smashproof’s Ordinary Life. We Here is more menacing than all of those beats but no less captivating. It’s good to hear Dallas on a beat like this again, all boisterous and lippy, throwing around references to Shane Cameron and Mac’s and PC’s. Mareko also carries on the exhaustive list of pop culture references with shouts to Murray Deaker, Mr. Whippy and Fear Factor, while the rest of the DKonz crew just continue to throw around snarling verses. Evolution is out July 5 and their “farewell event” is on July 10 at The Studio on K’Rd with additional performances from David Dallas, P-Money and Monsta. [via AyeBro]
