Buff1 Heading To New Zealand For Mean As III
We talked a tiny bit about Ann Arbor hip-hop artist Buff1 when he hopped on a remix to David Dallas’ Front To Back late last year before joining Dallas onstage at SxSW in March. Now he’s coming to New Zealand to play as part of Mean As III, the series of shows featuring Dallas (who will be hosting and performing at the show), P-Money, Fire & Ice and CheKamikaze. Buff1 came to prominence as part of the Athletic Mic League (AML), a group that also spawned the Stones Throw major-leaguer Mayer Hawthorne and Okayplayer said of his first album, “this album, my friends, is incredible…classic like thriller jackets.” You can download his mixtape It’s A 1derful Life for free over at A-Side Worldwide.
