Sean Paul Cancels Raggamuffin Appearance

Sean Paul, who was a no-show on the Australian leg of the Raggamuffin festival, has announced that he will not be playing at the Rotorua show this Saturday either. The singer angered fans when his no-show at the Australian shows went unspoken of by the promoter despite him still being advertised as one of the headline acts. Paul was a big drawcard for fans and no official reason was given for his cancellation  -  promoters have also said that he will not be replaced and instead the main acts will play longer sets. International acts include: Mary J. Blige, Jimmy Cliff, Maxi Priest, The Original Wailers and Ky-Mani Marley.

‘the withdrawal of headline artist Sean Paul, whose name continued to be used in advertising for months after his appearance was cancelled.’
It appears the public were mislead about Sean Paul playing Raggamuffin.
Not the first time either…remember Wyclef Jean and Stephen Marley in previous years pulling out. This year it’s Marvin Priest.
