Campbell Smith Resigns From RIANZ

Well known RIANZ CEO, Campbell Smith, has announced that he will step down from his role next month. Smith has been the head of RIANZ since 2005, and a press release sent out yesterday stated that the move will give him the time to focus on CRS, his artist management and concert promotion business.

His replacement has not been officially announced but NZ Herald’s John Drinnan said in his column today that Chris Caddick, who recently completed the report on NZ On Air, is rumoured to be taking Smith’s place.

CRS currently have artists Six60, Scribe, The Naked and Famous, Brooke Fraser, I Am Giant and Dimmer on their roster. Read the full press release regarding Smith’s departure here.
