Christchurch Acts Announced For Foo Fighters Show

Suitably, it’s two artists from Christchurch that have been chosen as support for the Foo Fighters show tomorrow, which will see all proceeds go towards the earthquake appeal. Cairo Knife Fight (led by former Weta frontman, Aaron Tokona) and The Transistors (a band which recorded their Flux Pentaphile EP in 20-something minutes last year) will both be opening the show at Auckland’s Town Hall. Tickets for the show went on sale Friday and promptly sold out the same day.
