Stream Thurston Moore’s New Album “Demolished Thoughts”

Thurston Moore’s new album Demolished Thoughts (produced entirely by Beck) has songs that were written over a two-year period and for this record he worked with violinist Samara Lubelski who offsets the introspective and acoustic-heavy album with an unconventional approach that highlights the nine songs. There’s some parallels here to Beck’s own Sea Change (the tension, dynamics and earnestness) but it still manages to stay characteristic to Moore’s own style. Stream it now via NPR.
