Here’s How The Big Day Out Will Look At Western Springs

Big Day Out 2014

Back in April promoter Campbell Smith announced that a “reinvented” Big Day Out will return to Auckland in 2014, and today Timeout via nzherald.co.nz has posted up a map of what the event will look like at Western Springs.  Take a look at it above.

The Big Day Out will take place next year on Friday January 17 and as the map shows there will be a double main stage, which will alternate between acts and two other stages – one near the Bullock Track and another closer to the Western Springs lake. It’ll run from 12 midday – 11pm and there’s consent for a max capacity of 50,000 people. The article also confirms that the promoters have scored resource consent to hold the event at Western Springs for the next five years.
