Latest NZ On Air Making Tracks Funding Decisions – September 2013

The latest NZ On Air funding decisions are in for September. This month saw 23 projects get the go-ahead for Making Tracks funding which will see 14 artists receive up to $10,000 for recording a song and making a video and the other nine artists will receive $6,000 to make a video. Find the full list below.

The following artists and projects will receive up to $10,000 to record a song and make a video:

  • Dick Johnson / Can’t Get Him There featuring Anna Coddington
  • Doprah / Lucid Visions
  • Fredericks Brown / Can’t Pretend
  • Jamie McDell / Young & Dumb
  • Popstrangers / Rats In The Palm Trees
  • Raiza Biza / First Light
  • Sound The Ocean / Run
  • Swiss / Lucky Man
  • The River Jesters / Pony
  • Thee Rum Coves / Baby Please
  • Titanium / Unarmed
  • Trip Pony / Blow Me Away
  • Tyna Keelan / First Kiss featuring Scribe
  • Tyree / I’m Ready featuring Jae’O

The following artists and projects will receive $6,000 to make a video:

  • Breaks Co-Op / Sound Familiar
  • Clap Clap Riot / Keep Me Up All Night
  • Dead Beat Boys / Robotronic
  • Ladi6 / Diamonds
  • Oakley Grenell / Happenin featuring Stauny Pops & J Dubs
  • Sheep, Dog & Wolf – Glare
  • Sherpa – Quit Time
  • Sunken Seas – Seesaw
  • The Doqument – Legacy featuring David Dallas
