I’ve had the chance to listen to Amerie’s new album and so far, so good. More Than Love samples the Kool & The Gang track Summer Madness (Remix) and is easily one of the best songs from the album. Also, Fabolous was born to murder songs like this – it’s just too easy and these two need to work together more. Especially like the breakdown where they’re both arguing (Amerie: “Everytime I ask you the question, you give me a different answer” Fab: “Everytime I answer, you give me a different question”). Fingers crossed it’s the next single. [2dopeboyz]

We’ve been looking forward to Amerie coming back to claim her rightful place in R&B for awhile now. Her new album ‘In Love & War’ is due out in November and is scheduled to feature guests such as Trey Songz and Fabolous. The album also features a Cool & Dre produced song as well as a Jim Jonsin (Sweet Dreams, Whatever You Like, Kiss Me Thru The Phone) assisted cut that we’re looking forward to most of all.

The video below was directed by Anthony Madler who has directed videos for T.I, The Killers and Jay-Z as well as pretty much every good Rihanna video. The song was produced by Eric Hudson and Sean Garrett.
